Job Description
The Plant Manager oversees the daily operations and maintenance of a water treatment and distribution system, ensuring regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and team development in a leadership role.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations and maintenance of the water treatment and distribution system
- Ensure regulatory compliance of the water treatment plant
- Manage and develop the operations team
- Maintain operational efficiency of the treatment plant
Requirements
- Experience in overseeing the daily operations and maintenance of water treatment and distribution systems, specifically for a water treatment plant similar to the Monmouth, IL system.
- Proven leadership skills in a critical operational environment, with the ability to ensure regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and team development.
- Ability to ensure regulatory compliance with relevant water treatment and distribution regulations and standards.
- Demonstrated experience in managing operational efficiency within a water treatment and distribution system.
- Experience in supervising and developing teams involved in water treatment and distribution operations.
- Knowledge of industry licenses and certifications related to water treatment and distribution operations, with a commitment to supporting employees in earning, upgrading, and maintaining these licenses and certifications.
- Ability to manage and oversee the maintenance and operational activities of water treatment and distribution facilities.
- Strong organizational and management skills to coordinate daily operations and maintenance activities.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively lead teams and coordinate with regulatory agencies and stakeholders.
- Physical ability to perform tasks required for overseeing water treatment plant operations, including possible site visits and inspections.
- Willingness to work in a leadership role that may require working outside of regular hours to ensure continuous plant operation and compliance.
