The Operations Maintenance Technician is responsible for operating and maintaining water and wastewater treatment facilities, performing mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, conducting laboratory analyses, and responding to emergency situations to ensure efficient and compliant plant operations.
Key Responsibilities
Operate and maintain water treatment, wastewater treatment, and remote pump station equipment
Perform distribution and collection system maintenance and meter reading as directed
Respond to emergency or unpredicted situations, including participating in on-call rotations
Conduct laboratory analyses and implement operational adjustments to treatment plants
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems, including pumps and control switches
Requirements
Must have the ability to perform all required laboratory analysis and make operational changes to treatment plants.

Must be able to work in inclement weather conditions when required.
