Job Description
The Operations Maintenance Technician is responsible for water and sewer line operations, including meter installation and repair, customer interactions, line locates, and routine maintenance to support water treatment and distribution services.
Key Responsibilities
- Change out and repair water meters
- Meet with customers to address water and sewer issues
- Perform locates of water and sewer lines throughout the district
- Conduct operations maintenance and housekeeping in accordance with contract requirements

- Ability to change out water meters and repair water meters as part of job duties.
- Experience meeting with customers about issues on water and sewer services.
- Ability to perform locates of water and sewer lines throughout the district.
- Perform operations maintenance and housekeeping in accordance with contract requirements.
- Must be a Utility Worker responsible for water and sewer line operations and customer service-related duties.
- Ability to work in accordance with safety and operational standards for water and sewer systems.
- Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Willingness to perform other customer service-related job duties as assigned.
- Must be able to work in a team environment and follow instructions from supervisors.
- High school diploma or equivalent (implied as a minimum educational requirement for utility work).
