The Meter Reader position involves taking water meter readings, performing maintenance, repair, and installation of meters, and handling reconnects and disconnects, primarily in outdoor conditions, with a focus on customer service and safety compliance.

Conduct reconnects and disconnects of meters
Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures and policies
Work in various weather conditions and participate in on-call rotation
Requirements
Responsibility for taking meter readings, maintenance, repair, and installation of meters, and performing reconnects, disconnects, and other duties as assigned.
Demonstrate basic communication and customer service skills.
Be detail oriented.
Comply with all company Health and Safety procedures and policies.
Ability to work in inclement weather conditions.
Availability to participate in an on-call rotation.
This is a union position.
Schedule Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.
This position is eligible for overtime.
