Job Description
The Lead Operator is responsible for managing the daily operations, maintenance, process control, and compliance reporting of a wastewater treatment facility and pump stations, ensuring efficient and compliant plant performance in accordance with contractual requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operations of the wastewater treatment facility and pump stations
- Oversee scope, schedule, and budget management in accordance with contractual requirements
- Assist with laboratory work and process control activities
- Perform maintenance tasks on equipment and systems
- Prepare and submit client and compliance reporting
Requirements
- Possess a minimum Connecticut Grade 3 wastewater certification.
- Be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations of the wastewater treatment facility and pump stations.
- Manage scope, schedule, and budget of operations in accordance with contractual requirements.
- Perform laboratory work related to wastewater treatment operations.
- Conduct maintenance activities as part of operational duties.
- Implement process control measures to ensure proper treatment processes.
- Prepare and submit client and compliance reporting related to wastewater treatment operations.
- Perform administrative duties associated with wastewater treatment operations.
- Demonstrate the ability to manage daily operations of the wastewater treatment facility and pump stations effectively.
