Job Description
The Lead Operator is responsible for managing the daily operations of a wastewater treatment facility and pump stations, including process control, maintenance, laboratory work, compliance reporting, and administrative duties, ensuring efficient and compliant plant performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operations of the wastewater treatment facility and pump stations
- Oversee scope, schedule, and budget management in accordance with contractual requirements
- Assist with laboratory work and process control activities
- Perform maintenance tasks on equipment and systems
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and client reporting requirements
Requirements
- Possess a minimum Connecticut Grade 3 wastewater certification.
- Be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations of the wastewater treatment facility and pump stations.
- Manage scope, schedule, and budget of the facility operations in accordance with contractual requirements.
- Perform laboratory work related to wastewater treatment operations.
- Conduct maintenance activities as part of daily operations.
- Manage process control to ensure proper functioning of wastewater treatment processes.
- Prepare and submit client and compliance reporting related to wastewater treatment operations.
- Perform other administrative duties related to wastewater treatment operations.
