Job Description
The Lead Collection Systems Operator is responsible for the daily operation and maintenance of the wastewater collection system, including sewer cleaning, CCTV inspections, pump station upkeep, and supporting wastewater treatment plant activities, primarily working outdoors in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain wastewater collection system equipment, including sewer cleaning and CCTV inspection tools
- Perform traffic control during operational activities
- Conduct maintenance and repairs on pump stations
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance to support wastewater treatment plant operations
Requirements
- Perform a variety of operational duties to operate and clean the wastewater collection system, including sewer cleaning and CCTV equipment, traffic control, and pump station maintenance.
- Work under the direct or general supervision of the Project Manager.
- Participate in the daily operations and maintenance of the Wastewater Collection System as directed by the Project Manager.
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance in support of the wastewater treatment plant.
- Work schedule of five 8-hour shifts from 6am to 2:30pm, Monday through Friday, after onboarding and training.
- May need to work rotating standby on call, including weekends.
- Receive a stipend of $200 for standby availability, with additional compensation for any hours worked while on standby.
