Job Description
The Field Services Technician is responsible for performing routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance on sewer collection systems, including piping, valves, and fittings, to ensure efficient operation and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance of sewer collection system conveyance piping, valves, fittings, and assets
- Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure system functionality and compliance
- Perform corrective maintenance to address system issues and repairs
Requirements
- Perform routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance of sewer collection system conveyance piping, valves, miscellaneous fittings, and other assigned assets.
- Possess the ability to work in the field in Bradenton, FL, and perform physical tasks associated with maintenance activities.
- Have the capability to follow safety protocols and procedures during maintenance operations.
- Be willing to work in various weather conditions and outdoor environments.
- Possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record to operate company or personal vehicles for work purposes.
- Have the physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, digging, and working in confined spaces as required by maintenance activities.
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team to complete maintenance tasks efficiently.
- Possess or be willing to obtain industry certifications relevant to wastewater collection systems, with support from the employer for earning, upgrading, and maintaining certifications.
