• Collecting soil, groundwater, and other environmental media samples to support site investigation and remediation objectives.
• Installing monitoring wells, performing remediation monitoring, and overseeing contractors.
• Assist field investigations and provide construction oversight by following safety policies, thoroughly understanding specifications, and documenting contractor activities and safety procedures.
• Assisting in preparing various regulatory submittals, technical memoranda, and/or reports.
• Manage, analyze, evaluate, and interpret data for use in reports and other visualizations, including maps, charts, and 3D models.
• Candidate should be a self-starter and possess strong technical fieldwork and writing skills to support various science and engineering projects.
• Detail-oriented, have excellent verbal communication skills combined with a positive attitude, and can work independently and within teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in geology, environmental science, environmental engineering, or a related field from an accredited program. M.S. preferred.
• A minimum of 5 and up to 10 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience working around construction equipment and/or in a construction environment is a plus.
• Strong computer skills, including Word, Excel, ArcGIS, CAD, or database software, preferred.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational, writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in developing and implementing project work plans, schedules, and budgets is a plus.
• 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER training.
