Job Description
A Dual Certified Water and Wastewater Operator responsible for the daily operations and maintenance of water and wastewater treatment facilities, ensuring compliance and efficient plant performance under the guidance of a Project Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain water and wastewater treatment facilities
- Ensure treatment plants run efficiently and comply with regulations
- Assist in troubleshooting operational issues at treatment facilities
- Monitor and control treatment processes and equipment
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance
- Support the guidance and supervision of the Project Manager
Requirements
- Possess and maintain valid Dual Certification as a Water and Wastewater Operator.
- Have the ability to play a crucial role in the daily operations and maintenance of both Water and Wastewater Treatment facilities under the guidance of the Project Manager.
- Be available to work Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with alternating on-call responsibilities.
- Be able to support and maintain treatment plant operations to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Possess the ability to earn, upgrade, and maintain industry licenses and certifications, supported by employer reimbursement programs.
