Job Description

The Commercial Director-Korea is responsible for leading sales and business development efforts in Korea, building strategic relationships, and driving growth for Insider's B2B SaaS platform in the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the sales strategy for the Korea market.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients and partners.
  • Drive revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives.
  • Manage and expand the sales pipeline to achieve targets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sales efforts with company goals.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role, specifically as a Commercial Director or equivalent, with a track record of successfully managing and growing sales and commercial operations in a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strategic relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders at various levels.
  • Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to develop and execute comprehensive sales and commercial strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Experience in creating and managing a robust sales pipeline, including lead generation, qualification, and closing deals.
  • Excellent relationship-building, consulting, and negotiation skills to effectively engage with high-profile clients and partners.
  • Ability to act as an owner, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset, and to work effectively in a fast-paced, challenging, and dynamic environment.
  • Experience working in a global or multi-country context, with an understanding of diverse markets and cultural sensitivities.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and develop a sales and commercial team across different regions.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present and influence at all levels of the organization and externally.
  • A passion for technology and SaaS products, with an understanding of AI-native platforms and customer experience solutions is preferred.
