Job Description

The Vice President of Renewables is responsible for developing and managing a pipeline of renewable energy investment leads, cultivating client relationships, and closing deals through consultative sales and negotiation, to support the company's growth in the renewable sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage personal pipeline of renewable energy investment leads from sourcing to closing.
  • Build and cultivate relationships with renewable energy property owners.
  • Achieve and monitor monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets and pipeline health.
  • Employ a consultative approach to prospective clients considering ground lease buy-outs.
  • Contribute to origination process improvements through data mining, CRM design, and marketing initiatives.
  • Support strategic initiatives and product development to maintain competitive market positioning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent work experience in business to consumer (B2C) sales
  • At least 4 years of experience in B2C sales
  • Natural sales talent with strong business acumen
  • Exceptional negotiation skills required, with experience negotiating transactions from sourcing through close
  • Proven ability to deliver results and prioritize tasks in a fast-moving, dynamic environment
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Outstanding negotiation and influence skills
  • High level of ethical, intellectual, professional, and personal values that complement the team and company culture
  • Ability to manage personal pipeline of origination leads from sourcing to closing
  • Ability to be the first point of contact for prospective clients and employ a consultative approach to clients considering a ground lease buy-out
  • Ability to achieve personal monthly, quarterly, and annual targets related to origination funnel management and closings
  • Ability to rigorously monitor personal origination waterfall activity to ensure health and stability of sales pipeline
