Job Description
The Vice President of Renewables is responsible for developing and managing a pipeline of renewable energy investment leads, cultivating client relationships, and closing deals through consultative sales and negotiation, to support the company's growth in the renewable sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage personal pipeline of renewable energy investment leads from sourcing to closing.
- Build and cultivate relationships with renewable energy property owners.
- Achieve and monitor monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets and pipeline health.
- Employ a consultative approach to prospective clients considering ground lease buy-outs.
- Contribute to origination process improvements through data mining, CRM design, and marketing initiatives.
- Support strategic initiatives and product development to maintain competitive market positioning.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent work experience in business to consumer (B2C) sales
- At least 4 years of experience in B2C sales
- Natural sales talent with strong business acumen
- Exceptional negotiation skills required, with experience negotiating transactions from sourcing through close
- Proven ability to deliver results and prioritize tasks in a fast-moving, dynamic environment
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Outstanding negotiation and influence skills
- High level of ethical, intellectual, professional, and personal values that complement the team and company culture
- Ability to manage personal pipeline of origination leads from sourcing to closing
- Ability to be the first point of contact for prospective clients and employ a consultative approach to clients considering a ground lease buy-out
- Ability to achieve personal monthly, quarterly, and annual targets related to origination funnel management and closings
- Ability to rigorously monitor personal origination waterfall activity to ensure health and stability of sales pipeline
