Job Description
The Vice President of Renewables is responsible for developing and managing a pipeline of renewable energy investment leads, cultivating client relationships, and closing deals, while contributing to strategic initiatives to maintain a competitive market position.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and advance a pipeline of renewable energy investment leads from contact to closing
- Cultivate relationships with renewable energy property owners to build a sales pipeline
- Manage personal pipeline of origination leads from sourcing to closing
- Serve as the first point of contact for prospective clients and employ a consultative approach
- Achieve personal sales targets related to origination and closings
- Monitor sales pipeline activity to ensure its health and stability
- Contribute to origination processes through data mining, CRM design, and marketing initiatives
- Contribute to strategic initiatives and product development to maintain market competitiveness
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent work experience in business to consumer (B2C) sales
- At least 4 years of experience in B2C sales
- Natural sales talent with strong business acumen
- Exceptional negotiation skills required, with experience negotiating transactions from sourcing through close
- Ability to manage a personal pipeline of origination leads from sourcing to closing
- Ability to be the first point of contact for prospective clients and employ a consultative approach to clients considering a ground lease buy-out
- Ability to achieve personal monthly, quarterly, and annual targets related to origination funnel management and closings
- Ability to rigorously monitor personal origination waterfall activity to ensure health and stability of sales pipeline
- Ability to contribute to origination processes such as data mining, CRM design, and marketing initiatives
- Ability to contribute to strategic initiatives and product design to maintain a competitive market position

- Proven ability to deliver results and prioritize tasks in a fast-moving, dynamic environment
