Job Description
The Real Estate Counsel will provide legal expertise related to real estate investments in renewable energy and digital infrastructure projects, supporting acquisitions and asset management for a leading investment company.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal counsel on real estate transactions related to renewable energy and digital infrastructure assets
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements for property acquisitions, leases, and other real estate dealings
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations in real estate transactions across the U.S. and Europe
Requirements
- Possess a Juris Doctor (JD) degree or equivalent legal qualification.
- Have a minimum of 5 years of experience practicing real estate law, preferably with a focus on renewable energy, digital infrastructure, or related sectors.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of real estate transactions, including acquisition, leasing, and development of real estate assets.
- Have experience advising on legal issues related to wind and solar energy projects, communication towers, wireless sites, and enterprise data centers.
- Possess excellent legal drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Be able to review, draft, and negotiate complex real estate agreements and contracts.
- Have the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Be familiar with legal regulations and compliance requirements in the United States and Europe related to real estate and infrastructure projects.
