Job Description

A Key Account Manager responsible for developing and managing a pipeline of renewable energy investment leads, cultivating client relationships, and closing deals within the telecom and renewables infrastructure sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage personal pipeline of origination leads from sourcing to closing
  • Build and develop a sales pipeline by engaging prospective clients using a consultative approach
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets related to origination and closings
  • Monitor and maintain the health and stability of the sales pipeline
  • Contribute to origination processes, including data mining, CRM design, and marketing initiatives
  • Support strategic initiatives and product development to stay competitive in the market

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent work experience in business to consumer (B2C) sales
  • At least 4 years of experience in B2C sales
  • Natural sales talent with strong business acumen
  • Exceptional negotiation skills required, with experience negotiating transactions from sourcing through close
  • Ability to manage a personal pipeline of origination leads from sourcing to closing
  • Ability to be the first point of contact for prospective clients and employ a consultative approach to clients considering a ground lease buy-out
  • Ability to achieve personal monthly, quarterly, and annual targets related to origination funnel management and closings
  • Rigorously monitor personal origination waterfall activity to ensure health and stability of sales pipeline
  • Contribute user-experience input to origination processes such as data mining, CRM design, and marketing initiatives
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives and product design to maintain a competitive market position
  • Familiarity with real estate closing process (preferred but not mandatory)
  • Familiarity with finance concepts such as IRR and NPV (preferred but not mandatory)
  • Experience originating or developing within renewables, commercial real estate, mortgages, telecom, land acquisition, or mineral rights acquisition (preferred but not mandatory)
  • High level of ethical, intellectual, professional, and personal values that complement the team and company culture

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to deliver results and prioritize tasks in a fast-moving, dynamic environment
