Job Description

The Key Account Manager in Renewables is responsible for developing and managing a pipeline of renewable energy investment leads, cultivating client relationships, and closing deals to support the company's growth in the renewable infrastructure sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage, and advance a pipeline of renewable energy investment leads from contact to closing
  • Build and maintain relationships with renewable energy property owners
  • Achieve personal sales targets related to origination and closings
  • Monitor and ensure the health and stability of the sales pipeline
  • Contribute to origination processes, including data mining, CRM design, and marketing initiatives
  • Participate in strategic initiatives and product development to maintain market competitiveness

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent work experience in business to consumer (B2C) sales.
  • At least 4 years of experience in B2C sales.
  • Natural sales talent with strong business acumen.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills required, with experience negotiating transactions from sourcing through close.
  • Ability to manage a personal pipeline of origination leads from sourcing to closing.
  • Ability to be the first point of contact for prospective clients and employ a consultative approach to clients considering a ground lease buy-out.
  • Ability to achieve personal monthly, quarterly, and annual targets related to origination funnel management and closings.
  • Ability to rigorously monitor personal origination waterfall activity to ensure health and stability of the sales pipeline.
  • Ability to contribute user-experience input to origination processes such as data mining, CRM design, and marketing initiatives.
  • Ability to contribute to strategic initiatives and product design to maintain a competitive market position.
  • High level of ethical, intellectual, professional, and personal values that complement the team and company culture.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to deliver results and prioritize tasks in a fast-moving, dynamic environment.
  • Outstanding negotiation and influence skills.
