A Senior Simulation Engineer responsible for developing sensor and system-level simulation workflows to support validation and training of autonomous driving systems, including building simulated environments, data pipelines, and integrating advanced simulation technologies for evaluation and improvement of driving policies.
Key Responsibilities
Develop sensor and system-level simulation workflows for validation and synthetic data generation
Build simulated environments, data pipelines, and interfaces to evaluate and improve driving policies
Perform functional validation of learned behaviors and scalable synthetic data generation
Integrate advanced simulation technologies to support training and evaluation workflows
Coordinate cross-functional alignment between autonomy, platform, ML infrastructure, and integration teams
Requirements
Experience leading the development of sensor and system-level simulation workflows that support both closed-loop validation and synthetic data generation for training in autonomous driving or related fields.
Proficiency in building simulated environments, data pipelines, and interfaces required to evaluate and improve full-stack driving policies under diverse, realistic conditions.
Ability to focus on functional validation of learned behaviors, scalable synthetic data generation, and the seamless integration of state-of-the-art simulation technologies to support both training and evaluation workflows.
Experience in driving cross-functional alignment between autonomy, platform, machine learning infrastructure, and integration teams.
Demonstrated experience in developing or working with simulation infrastructure or tooling for autonomous systems or robotics.
Strong understanding of AI, robotics, driving, or material sciences related to simulation and validation workflows.
Relevant educational background in engineering, computer science, robotics, AI, or related technical fields.
Experience in collaborative research or development projects involving multiple teams or organizations, preferably in automotive or mobility sectors.
Ability to include links to relevant open-source contributions or technical project write-ups in the application.
