Job Description
A senior robotics engineer responsible for developing and integrating machine learning-based perception, prediction, and action systems to create robust, reactive, and coordinated robotic behaviors, primarily in the context of autonomous mobility and advanced robotics technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement robotic systems leveraging machine learning for perception, prediction, and action.
- Design and test robust, reactive, and coordinated robot behaviors in simulation and real-world scenarios.
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to transition technology development into market-ready products.
Requirements
- Experience in developing robotic systems with a focus on perception, prediction, and action, leveraging machine learning techniques to produce robust, reactive, and coordinated robot behaviors.
- Proficiency in bootstrapping from simulation, leveraging large amounts of data, and adapting systems to real-world scenarios.
- Demonstrated ability to develop high-quality, robust, and quantitatively evaluated robotic systems.
- Strong background in machine learning, with the ability to apply it to robotics and autonomous systems.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment that demands high-risk innovation and learning from failures.
- Ability to identify key technologies and develop systems that transition from research to product impact.
- Educational background in a relevant field such as Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related disciplines (implied, as the role is senior and technical).
- Experience with software development and integration of hardware and software components in robotic systems.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a diverse and inclusive team environment.
- Experience in developing perception, prediction, and action modules for robotics applications (implied by the focus on these areas).
