Partner with senior leaders and managers to enable strong leadership and organizational effectiveness
Support the development and implementation of people programs that promote innovation, inclusion, and impact
Provide strategic and hands-on HR support to a research-oriented, mission-driven organization
Requirements
Experience serving as a strategic and hands-on People leader, partnering closely with senior leaders, people managers, and the broader People team to enable strong leadership, healthy teams, and organizational effectiveness.
Ability to support a mission-driven, research-oriented organization.
Experience working in a research-oriented environment or with mission-driven organizations (implied by supporting a research-oriented organization).
Demonstrated ability to partner across an organization to ensure that people programs enable innovation, inclusion, and impact.
Experience working in a collaborative, curious, and values-driven environment.
Knowledge of and experience with developing and implementing people programs that support organizational goals.
Ability to support and enable organizational leadership and healthy teams.
Experience working with senior leaders and people managers to promote organizational effectiveness.
Understanding of employment laws and regulations relevant to the role, including compliance with laws such as the Massachusetts law regarding lie detector tests and the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance.
Ability to support diversity and inclusion initiatives, fostering an inclusive environment.
Experience working with or knowledge of benefits administration, including medical, dental, vision insurance, and paid time off benefits (implied by supporting the organization’s benefits offerings).
Educational background or experience relevant to HR, organizational development, or related fields (implied, as the role is senior and strategic).

Salary range between 148,000 and 222,000 per year for California-based roles
