Job Description
The Implementation Engineer - Computer Vision and Robotics at Toyota Research Institute is responsible for deploying and integrating advanced computer vision systems into manufacturing environments, including on-site deployments, system calibration, performance tuning, and developing tools to streamline future implementations, combining fieldwork, software engineering, and system integration skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Integrate advanced computer vision systems into manufacturing environments.
- Perform on-site deployments, system calibration, and performance tuning.
- Build reusable tools and infrastructure to facilitate future system rollouts.
- Collaborate with customers and internal teams to ensure successful system integration.
Requirements
- Experience working directly with customers and internal team members to integrate advanced computer vision systems into real-world manufacturing environments.
- Ability to perform on-site deployments, system calibration, and performance tuning of computer vision systems.
- Experience building reusable tools and infrastructure to streamline future rollouts of computer vision solutions.
- Proficiency in software engineering and system integration related to computer vision applications.
- Willingness to perform fieldwork and travel approximately twice a quarter to manufacturing sites across the U.S.
- Educational background in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or related disciplines (implied by the technical nature of the role).
