Job Description
A research internship focused on developing immersive AI-driven visualizations of future product designs using generative AI, cognitive modeling, and societal data to support innovation in automotive design at Toyota Research Institute.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop immersive interactions to visualize possible futures using narratives, historical data, and societal trends.
- Collaborate with mentors and participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to support research and project goals.
- Engage in strategy discussions to connect research outcomes to business impact at Toyota.
Requirements
- A background in Graphics Design and Machine Learning, with demonstrated interest in design and generative AI.
- Currently pursuing or having completed a PhD in a relevant field.
- Ability to develop immersive interactions to visualize possible futures using narratives, historical data, and societal trends.
- Willingness to participate in all Human-Centered AI division meetings and meetings with partners from relevant Toyota business groups.
- Availability for a flexible internship period between late summer 2025 and spring 2026.
- Ability to work in a hybrid in-office role.
