Job Description
This internship involves developing and integrating machine learning models for autonomous driving systems, focusing on perception, planning, and control, to create robust and deployable solutions in a collaborative research environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement, evaluate, and integrate ML-based components for perception, planning, and control systems.
- Contribute to simulation-based testing of machine learning models.
- Collaborate with researchers, data engineers, and autonomy engineers to scale models from prototype to production.
Requirements
- Must be a candidate for or have completed a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related technical field.
- Must have experience or demonstrated ability in developing, implementing, evaluating, and integrating machine learning-based components for perception, planning, and control systems.
- Must have experience working with simulation-based testing environments for autonomous systems.
- Must have the ability to work closely with researchers, data engineers, and autonomy engineers to ensure models scale from prototype to production.
- Must be available for a paid 12-week internship during Summer 2026.
- Must be able to contribute to the implementation, evaluation, and integration of ML components for perception, planning, and control.
- Must have knowledge or experience in end-to-end machine learning models, particularly in translating pixels to trajectories for autonomous driving systems.
- Must be able to work in a hybrid in-office role, with flexibility depending on location (California or Massachusetts).
- Must be able to provide links to relevant open-source contributions or technical project write-ups with the application.
- Must be able to work within the pay range of $45 to $65 per hour for California-based roles or $40 to $58 per hour for Massachusetts-based roles, depending on experience and other factors.
