Job Description
The Senior Project Manager PE, Civil - Transportation leads the design and planning of transportation infrastructure projects, including highways, bridges, and roadways, while supporting business development and client relations in a collaborative, hybrid work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design of transportation infrastructure projects including highway, traffic, bridge, and roadway systems.
- Provide comprehensive transportation planning services such as sustainable transportation, geometric layouts, and multimodal planning.
- Manage project phases from preliminary engineering to final design, ensuring safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with leadership and clients to develop marketing plans, cultivate relationships, and track opportunities.
- Develop proposals and deliver client presentations to support business development.
- Ensure projects are optimized for cost efficiency and risk mitigation through collaboration and innovation.
Requirements
- Must hold a Professional Engineer (PE) license in Civil Engineering.
- Must have experience leading transportation infrastructure projects, including designing complex, safe, and efficient systems.
- Must have experience providing a full range of services such as sustainable transportation planning, geometric layouts, multimodal planning, preliminary engineering, and final design.
- Must have expertise in at least one of the following transportation design areas: highway, traffic, bridge, or roadway.
- Must have experience supporting a growing portfolio of transportation projects in the Milwaukee region.
- Must have experience in business development activities including contributing to marketing plans, cultivating and maintaining client and agency relationships, tracking prospective opportunities, developing proposals, and delivering client presentations.
- Must be able to collaborate with Surface Transportation leaders, the Milwaukee Regional Vice President, and Surface Transportation Vice President.
- Must be able to complete a standard pre-employment background screening, including Social Security verification, educational verification, review of criminal convictions, and driving history.
