Job Description
A Senior Engineer Project Manager - Traffic leads the design and management of transportation infrastructure projects, oversees business development activities, and collaborates with team members to deliver safe, efficient, and cost-effective transportation solutions within a hybrid work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design of complex, safe, and efficient transportation infrastructure projects
- Collaborate with management and engineering teams to develop marketing plans and enhance services
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with clients and agency representatives
- Track prospective business opportunities and develop proposals
- Deliver client presentations and contribute to business development efforts
- Ensure project cost efficiency and risk mitigation through innovative planning and management
Requirements
- Must have experience leading projects for designing complex, safe, and efficient transportation infrastructure systems.
- Must have the ability to collaborate with the Traffic Group Manager and the Vice President of Surface Transportation Engineering to develop marketing plans, cultivate and maintain relations with clients and agency representatives, track prospective opportunities, develop proposals, and deliver client presentations.
- Must have a professional engineering license (PE) or equivalent qualification in transportation or related engineering field.
- Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in transportation engineering, project management, or related roles.
- Must be able to lead and manage transportation infrastructure projects, ensuring safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
- Must be able to complete a standard pre-employment background screening, including Social Security verification, educational verification, review of criminal convictions, and driving history.
