Job Description
A senior mechanical engineer and project manager responsible for leading engineering projects, managing client relationships, and driving business development in mechanical design areas such as HVAC and plumbing within the California region.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical oversight and project leadership for mechanical design projects.
- Manage client relationships and engage in business development activities.
- Develop new client relationships and expand existing accounts within California, especially in manufacturing and food and beverage sectors.
- Lead and grow the engineering practice in the Riverside office.
- Prioritize project management, client engagement, and business development over routine design tasks.
Requirements
- Possess engineering expertise relevant to mechanical design including HVAC, plumbing, and associated facility systems.
- Have experience in project management, client engagement, and business development, with a priority on these areas over routine production design tasks.
- Be capable of providing technical oversight and project leadership in the Riverside office.
- Contribute significantly to the growth of engineering services within California.
- Work with national market leads and regional Vice President to develop new client relationships, particularly within the manufacturing and food and beverage sectors.
- Expand existing accounts in California.
- Possess the ability to lead and grow an engineering practice in a regional office setting.
