Job Description
The Senior Engineer Project Manager - Traffic is responsible for leading the design of complex transportation infrastructure projects, managing client relationships, contributing to business development, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team in a hybrid work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design of complex, safe, and efficient transportation infrastructure projects
- Collaborate with management and senior leaders to develop marketing plans and enhance service offerings
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with clients and agency representatives
- Track prospective business opportunities and develop proposals
- Deliver client presentations to communicate project scope and progress
- Ensure projects are optimized for cost efficiency and risk mitigation
Requirements
- Experience in leading projects for designing complex, safe, and efficient transportation infrastructure systems.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification in transportation or civil engineering.
- Proven ability to collaborate with project team members, including traffic group managers and senior executives, to develop marketing plans, cultivate and maintain client and agency relations, track prospective opportunities, develop proposals, and deliver client presentations.
- Experience in business development activities related to transportation engineering projects, including contributing to marketing plans and client engagement.
- Ability to work in a hybrid work environment with in-office presence on Monday and Friday and WFH on Tuesday through Thursday.
- Completion of a standard pre-employment background screening, including Social Security verification, educational verification, review of criminal convictions, and driving history.
