Job Description
The Senior Electrical Engineer will design and oversee electrical systems for airfield airport operations, including lighting, power distribution, control systems, and security, while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team on various aviation projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Design electrical systems for airfield airport operations, including lighting, controls, and power distribution
- Design electrical components related to power distribution, control systems, emergency generators, NAVAIDS, airfield lighting, security, and communications systems
- Perform construction administration and inspection observation duties on electrical projects
Requirements
- Experience designing electrical systems for airfield airport operations including lighting, controls, and power distribution for commercial and general aviation airports.
- Ability to design electrical components related to power distribution, control systems, emergency generators, NAVAIDS, airfield lighting, security, and communications systems.
- Prior experience performing construction administration and inspection observation duties on electrical or multi-disciplined projects.
- Reside within a regular commuting distance from the company's office in Bloomington, MN.
