Job Description
The role involves leading utility and site design projects, managing them from conception to construction, mentoring team members, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, primarily focusing on water, sewer, stormwater, and utility infrastructure within the rail division.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive utility and site design projects, including water, fire protection, sanitary sewer, and stormwater infrastructure.
- Manage projects from conception through construction, overseeing technical and financial aspects.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on various utility and building projects.
- Mentor junior team members and take ownership of project deliverables.
- Coordinate utility systems and design efforts for rail and industrial projects.
Requirements
- Possess a Professional Engineer (PE) license and be ready to step into leadership while still engaging in technical engineering work.
- Have experience leading comprehensive utility design and site design projects, including domestic water systems, fire protection systems, sanitary sewer infrastructure, and stormwater infrastructure.
- Have the ability to manage projects from conception through construction, including technical and financial aspects.
- Be capable of mentoring newer team members and taking ownership of project responsibilities.
- Have experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams on utility and site design projects.
- Possess the ability to grow project management skills and lead design efforts in utility and site infrastructure projects.
