Job Description
An Electrical Engineer specializing in power systems for airfield airport operations, responsible for designing electrical components such as lighting, controls, power distribution, and security systems, while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams on airport and aviation projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Design electrical systems for airfield airport operations including lighting, controls, power distribution, emergency generators, NAVAIDS, security, and communications systems.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on various airport and aviation projects.
- Perform construction administration and inspection observation duties related to electrical components.
Requirements
- Candidate must reside within a regular commuting distance from the company's office in Bloomington, MN.
- Must have interest in or prior experience designing electrical systems for airfield airport operations, including lighting, controls, and power distribution for commercial and general aviation airports.
- Experience designing electrical components related to power distribution, control systems, emergency generators, NAVAIDS, airfield lighting, and security and communications systems.
- Ability to perform construction administration and inspection observation duties related to electrical projects.
