Job Description
A summer internship position for a motivated student in Architectural or Engineering Technology to assist with structural design tasks, prepare drawings and construction documents, and gain hands-on experience working on real projects in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing drawings and construction documents using AutoCAD and Revit
- Support redline updates to project drawings
- Collaborate with designers, engineers, and architects on real projects
- Learn how structural design integrates into the full project workflow
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a two year Architectural Technology or Engineering Technology program
- Ability to work 40 hours per week with occasional overtime throughout the summer of 2026 from mid-May through mid-August
- Availability to primarily work from the office with the possibility of flexible hybrid work arrangements
- Willingness to learn and enthusiasm for gaining hands-on experience in structural design
- Ability to support preparing drawings and construction documents in AutoCAD and Revit
- Support redline updates to drawings and construction documents
- Ability to work collaboratively with designers, engineers, and architects on real projects for education, government, industrial, and mining facilities
- Willingness to complete a standard pre-employment background screening, including Social Security verification, educational verification, review of criminal convictions, and driving history
