Job Description
TerraPower, LLC. is seeking a Field Engineer to provide support for construction of the Natrium advanced reactor project at the Kemmerer, Wyoming site (Kemmerer Unit 1). This position reports to Natrium Deployment Engineering. The Field Engineer supports TerraPower's Site Design Engineering and construction oversight s
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical discipline from an ABET accredited institution, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in field engineering, construction engineering, or construction support on power generation, nuclear, or large industrial projects
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and isometrics.
- Experience with nuclear quality requirements (NQA-1, 10 CFR 50 Appendix B) is preferred.
- Familiarity with 3D model viewing tools and construction document control systems.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Experience with Primavera P6 is a plus.
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification is preferred.
- Ability to meet site access requirements, including training and any screening required.
- Strong oral and written communication skills and attention to detail.
- The successful candidate will possess a high degree of trust and integrity, communicate openly and display respect, and a desire to foster teamwork.
- This position is subject to qualification requirements in accordance with ANSI/ANS 3.1. Candidates must meet the minimum education and experience criteria applicable to the role, including relevant nuclear industry experience where required.
