Job Description
The Test and Fill Facility (TFF) Operator reports to the TFF Operations Manager, and is responsible for the safe operation, maintenance, commissioning, and modification of systems and equipment at the Test Facility.
Requirements
- Associate degree in technical field OR equivalent military/industrial experience.
- 5+ years of experience in industrial operations, power generation, test facilities, chemical processing, or similar high-consequence environments.
- Experience performing maintenance and troubleshooting on mechanical and/or electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, electrical schematics, and technical drawings.
- Experience working with structured procedures and configuration-controlled environments.
- Strong safety record and safety-first mindset.
- Experience in nuclear, sodium-cooled systems, or inert gas systems.
- Experience with commissioning and system turnover.
- Knowledge of industrial control systems (PLC/DCS).
- Experience with CMMS or maintenance tracking systems.
- Military nuclear propulsion or similar disciplined operational background.
- Welding, fabrication, or mechanical modification experience.
