Job Description
TerraPower is seeking a Director of Supply Chain Operations to lead the day-to-day execution of TerraPower’s global supply chain for the Natrium sodium-cooled fast reactor program.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end supply chain execution for all critical nuclear components, modules, fuel, and balance-of-plant equipment.
- Lead supplier performance management, on-time delivery tracking, and corrective action programs.
- Build and run the logistics, warehousing, and material kitting strategy for modular construction sites.
- Manage supply chain systems, ERP integration, planning, and forecasting for long-lead nuclear items.
- Drive continuous improvement in cost, quality, and delivery across the entire supplier network.
- Partner closely with the Director of Supply Chain Strategy to hand off qualified suppliers into live execution.
- Lead a team responsible for expediting, quality surveillance, and field material support.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (Supply Chain, Business or Engineering) required; advanced degree preferred. Supply chain certification preferred.
- 15+ years in supply chain operations, with at least 5 years in nuclear, aerospace, or other highly regulated industries.
- Strong experience managing complex, long-lead item supply chains for large energy or industrial projects.
- Deep knowledge of nuclear quality standards, ASME NQA-1, and supply chain compliance.
- Proven ability to build, develop and lead high-performing operational teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
