Job Description
The Staff ML Engineer at Sword Health will develop and enhance AI and machine learning features to deliver personalized clinical care, working closely with clinical teams to improve patient outcomes and the overall AI-powered healthcare experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop ML-powered features to identify the best course of action for each patient.
- Collaborate with clinical teams to enhance AI care personalization and effectiveness.
- Ensure AI experiences closely mimic one-on-one sessions with Physical Therapists.
- Leverage recent advancements in Generative AI to improve AI care human touch and personalization.
- Contribute to projects like Phoenix and decision support systems to empower Physical Therapists.
Requirements
- Candidates must possess a valid EU visa and be based in Portugal.
- Proven experience in developing machine learning models and deploying ML-powered features in a clinical or healthcare setting.
- Strong skills in AI and ML to leverage AI and ML to provide high-quality clinical care at unprecedented levels of personalization and scale.
- Experience working in close collaboration with clinical teams to develop ML-powered features that identify the best course of action for each patient at any given moment or circumstance.
- Ability to develop solutions that ensure the overall experience is as close as possible to a 1-on-1 session with a Physical Therapist.
- Experience working on decision support systems that empower Physical Therapists to provide world-class care to members.
- Knowledge of recent developments in the Generative AI field and ability to leverage these in AI care solutions.
- Excellent understanding of the importance of personalization and human touch in AI-driven clinical care.
- Ability to work remotely and independently, with flexible working hours.
- Candidates must be located in Portugal and able to work remotely without relocation assistance.
