Job Description
A Senior Machine Learning Engineer responsible for developing and implementing AI solutions to improve patient outcomes and support Sword Health's mission to create a pain-free world, working remotely in Portugal within a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement machine learning models for AI Care solutions
- Optimize and maintain ML algorithms to improve patient outcomes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ML systems into products
Requirements
- Candidates must possess a valid EU visa and be based in Portugal.
- Proven experience in machine learning engineering or a similar role, with a strong understanding of AI and ML techniques.
- Experience developing and deploying machine learning models in production environments.
- Strong programming skills in relevant languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering best practices.
- Experience working with large datasets and data processing tools.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including data scientists, engineers, and product managers.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate complex requirements into technical solutions.
- Strong communication skills to clearly articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Educational background in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
