Job Description
A Senior Backend Engineer responsible for designing and building scalable APIs and platform services to enable data access across Sword Health's AI-driven healthcare platform, collaborating with Data Engineers and working in a regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build APIs to enable data access across Sword Health platforms
- Own and maintain critical platform services
- Implement resilient workflows for data processing and access
- Collaborate with Data Engineers to define scalable data contracts
- Work with production APIs in regulated healthcare environments
Requirements
- Experience designing and building APIs that make data accessible across platforms.
- Ownership of critical platform services related to data infrastructure.
- Implementation of resilient workflows within data platform services.
- Collaboration with Data Engineers to define contracts that scale for data access and integration.
- Production API experience in a professional environment.
- Comfort working in regulated environments, understanding compliance and regulatory standards related to data and APIs.
- Possession of a valid EU visa and being based in Portugal, as the candidate must work remotely from Portugal.
- Ability to work remotely and manage flexible working hours.
