Job Description
A Senior Android Engineer responsible for developing and maintaining Android applications that support Sword Health's AI-driven healthcare platform, contributing to making healthcare more accessible and cost-effective through innovative mobile solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Android applications for the AI Care platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new features and improve existing ones
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of Android applications
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical discussions
Requirements
- Candidates must possess a valid EU visa and be based in Portugal.
- Proficiency in Android development with experience in building and maintaining Android applications.
- Strong knowledge of Java and Kotlin programming languages used for Android app development.
- Experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, and related development tools.
- Ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices.
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs and working with backend services within Android applications.
- Understanding of mobile UI/UX design principles and ability to implement responsive and user-friendly interfaces.
- Experience with version control systems, specifically Git.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in Android applications.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Ability to work remotely with flexible working hours.
