Job Description
The Senior Analytics Engineer at Sword Health is responsible for transforming data into scalable models, building and optimizing data pipelines, and ensuring consistent metrics across the organization to support data-driven decision-making and healthcare innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Transform data into scalable, trusted models to support business decisions and advanced analytics
- Build and maintain the semantic layer to ensure consistency of metrics across the company
- Optimize data pipelines and reporting processes
- Bridge the gap between data engineering and data analytics to enable data-driven decision making
Requirements
- Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in data engineering, data analytics, or a related field, with a proven ability to transform data into scalable, trusted models that support business decisions and advanced analytics.
- Experience in building and maintaining a semantic layer to ensure consistency of metrics across the organization.
- Proficiency in optimizing data pipelines and reporting processes to enable reliable and efficient data access and analysis.
- Strong skills in bridging the gap between data engineering and data analytics, with the ability to transform raw data into actionable insights.
- Experience in building and deploying scalable data models that support business decision-making and advanced analytics.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive innovation in healthcare and operational excellence.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with data pipeline tools and technologies.
- Experience with data visualization and reporting tools to communicate insights effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Legal eligibility to work in Portugal, including possessing a valid EU visa and being based in Portugal.
- Willingness to work remotely, with flexible working hours and the ability to work from home.
