Key Responsibilities
Operate, refine, and scale thin-film deposition processes for solar technology.
Review pass-down notes and document experimental results accurately.
Troubleshoot equipment and processes independently or escalate issues as needed.
Monitor tool performance and ensure consistent output during experiments.
Follow procedures and record process parameters meticulously.
Track supplies and flag workflow issues to improve operational efficiency.
Write detailed shift handoff logs to facilitate seamless transitions between shifts.
Support experimental work and collaborate with scientists to advance solar technology.
Requirements
Experience working in a hands-on laboratory environment
Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
Ability to take ownership of work and proactively flag issues rather than waiting to be told
Ability to write clear, thorough shift handoff notes that the day team depends on
