The Process Technician at Swift Solar plays a key role in operating, refining, and scaling thin-film deposition processes to support the development and manufacturing of advanced solar technology, working closely with scientists and engineers in a dynamic startup environment.
Key Responsibilities
Operate, refine, and scale thin-film deposition processes in collaboration with scientists and process engineers
Follow experimental procedures, document results, and monitor tool performance for consistency
Review experimental plans with the team and execute lab tasks accordingly
Track supplies, flag workflow issues, and assist in refining procedures
Support the transition from R&D to high-throughput manufacturing processes
Requirements
Experience working in a hands-on laboratory environment.
Eagerness to learn new skills and take initiative without being prompted.
Ability to excel at multitasking and managing time effectively.
Willingness to collaborate with scientists and support experimental work.
Availability to work the shift from 1:30pm to 10:00pm.
Experience in a semiconductor, research and development (R&D), or manufacturing environment (preferred but not mandatory).
Glovebox operation experience (preferred but not mandatory).
Experience handling chemicals safely and responsibly (preferred but not mandatory).
Skill in working with delicate samples and materials (preferred but not mandatory).
