Job Description
A hands-on Facilities Technician responsible for maintaining and supporting the operations of a 2,500m² renewable energy facility, including performing repairs, equipment installation, lab and clean room maintenance, and coordinating with external contractors to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and support the 2,500m² facility, including mechanical workshop, wet chemical lab, measurement lab, and clean room.
- Perform basic repairs, small rig builds, and clean room maintenance such as exhaust and AC systems.
- Operate the forklift and support installation of facility equipment.
- Conduct minor plumbing and electrical work as needed.
- Manage goods storage and coordinate with external contractors.
- Safely handle chemical disposal and support overall facility operations.
Requirements
- Support and maintain a 2,500m² facility including a mechanical workshop, wet chemical lab, measurement lab, and clean room for experimental solar cell production.
- Carry out practical tasks such as basic repairs, small rig builds, clean room maintenance including exhaust and air conditioning systems.
- Operate a forklift safely and effectively.
- Perform minor plumbing and electrical work.
- Manage goods storage within the facility.
- Support the installation of facility equipment.
- Coordinate with external contractors for facility-related work.
- Safely manage chemical disposal procedures.
- Provide general hands-on support to ensure operations run efficiently.
- Work closely with a small team and report to the Plant Manager.
