Job Description

You will join a growing trading function focused on building best-in-class gas trading and shipping capabilities across Europe.

Key Responsibilities

Execute paper and OTC hedging strategies for physical gas, LNG, and BBK exposures, minimizing value leakage.
Build and enhance gas trading capabilities, including tools, processes, and market access across key European regions.
Develop real-time position tracking and hedging frameworks, including sensitivity analysis and forecasting under uncertainty.
Establish pricing methodologies for gas components in commercial deals, factoring in market dynamics, execution risks, and hedging efficiency.
Optimize optionality in portfolios (e.g. BBK flex and LNG contracts) and improve P&L transparency and risk reporting.

Requirements

3 - 5+ experience as a gas trader with a solid understanding of European gas markets.
Strong expertise in paper gas trading and OTC hedging for physical exposures.
Familiarity with LNG, balancing, and capacity products (e.g. BBK), with basic options knowledge preferred.
Proven ability to build processes, tools, or capabilities from the ground up (project management mindset).
Strong analytical and commercial skills, with the ability to operate effectively in fast-moving and volatile markets.
