The Electrolyte Production Supervisor oversees daily manufacturing operations of electrolyte powder for next-generation batteries, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency while leading and developing production teams in a controlled environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise electrolyte powder production operations and shift activities
Manage and develop production operators, including training and performance management
Ensure adherence to SOPs, work instructions, and batch execution requirements
Monitor and report on production performance, yields, and quality metrics
Identify and implement continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives
Ensure proper operation and maintenance of manufacturing equipment
Maintain dry room and controlled environment standards, including housekeeping and material handling
Enforce safety protocols and promote a strong safety culture in compliance with EHS standards
Support process hazard analysis (PHA) and implement risk mitigation measures
Coordinate with QC and Engineering on deviations, investigations, and corrective actions
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree of Science preferred, or equivalent years of experience required.
High School Diploma or GED required.
At least 7 years of supervisory, team lead or managerial experience.
At least 4 years of experience in manufacturing or industrial setting.
Hands-on experience working with hazardous materials, dry powder processes, and wet chemical slurry and solvent-based operations.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Proven ability to manage production metrics, drive accountability, and lead teams.
Experience with milling, heat treatment HTX, or similar processing equipment preferred.
Experience with Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma.
Experience with an ERP system.
Experience with Microsoft Suite including Excel, specifically creating spreadsheets, basic formulas, and tables.
Ability to troubleshoot processes and equipment.
Availability to work a 1st shift schedule with potential to work a second shift if needed in the future.
Most working hours will be spent on the production floor.
Ability to lift 50 lbs daily.
Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as necessary including eye protection, hair net, gloves, face mask, coveralls, full-face respirator or PAPR.
Benefits & Perks
Salary range: $80,000 - $105,000
Work schedule: Split shift, potential to work second shift
