Job Description
The Quality Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining quality processes to ensure the manufacturing of reliable, space-worthy silicon solar panels for space applications, collaborating across engineering, production, and supply chain teams to uphold industry standards and solve complex quality issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and own quality processes to ensure solar panels are launch-ready and space-worthy
- Lead inspection protocols and define quality standards
- Drive root-cause analysis on mission-critical hardware
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to improve quality systems
Requirements
- Create and own the quality processes that ensure every solar panel built is launch-ready and space-worthy.
- Lead inspection protocols to ensure quality standards are met.
- Define quality standards for manufacturing processes and hardware.
- Drive root-cause analysis on mission-critical hardware to identify and resolve quality issues.
- Ensure compliance with industry quality standards relevant to space-grade hardware.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to maintain and improve quality processes.
- Possess hands-on experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment, particularly in high-tech or space-related industries.
