Job Description

The Business Development Manager, Commercial at Solestial is responsible for leading sales activities, building strategic partnerships, and driving growth in the commercial space-based solar power market to support the company's expansion and success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead prospecting, qualification, and proposal development for new business opportunities
  • Manage inbound and outbound sales activities to build the commercial backlog
  • Drive strategic partnerships to support company growth in the commercial market
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, engineering, product, and leadership teams

Requirements

  • Experience in leading prospecting, qualification, and proposals for new business in a sales environment
  • Ability to manage inbound and outbound sales activities to build the commercial backlog
  • Proven track record of driving strategic partnerships in a commercial market
  • Experience in collaborating cross-functionally with marketing, engineering, product, and leadership teams
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and own commercial sales activities
  • Hands-on experience in business development or sales roles related to advanced technologies or space industry is preferred
