Job Description
The Manager, Strategic Transactions Commercial Regulatory at Solar Landscape is responsible for managing contractual and regulatory aspects of complex partnership transactions to support the company's expansion into new markets and innovative commercial structures in the U.S.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage contractual and regulatory considerations across complex partnership transactions.
- Support the company's expansion into new markets by creating innovative commercial structures.
- Ensure transaction structures are compliant with regulatory requirements and contractual discipline.
- Collaborate with legal, regulatory, and commercial teams to facilitate market entry.
- Contribute to the development of new market opportunities and transaction frameworks.
Requirements
- Experience in managing contractual and regulatory considerations across complex partnership transactions.
- Ability to support the company's expansion into new markets and create innovative commercial structures across the United States.
- Experience in ensuring transaction structures are grounded in regulatory reality and contractual discipline while remaining flexible enough to support rapid market entry.
- Experience working at the intersection of legal, regulatory, and commercial execution in the energy or related sectors.
- Ability to help develop first-of-their-kind transaction structures that comply with regulatory requirements.
- Experience working with key players across the energy landscape to unlock new pathways for distributed clean energy deployment.
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks relevant to energy projects and transactions.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with legal, regulatory, and commercial teams.
- Ability to operate as a core member of a small, senior execution team and contribute to senior decision-making processes.
- Willingness to be based in the NY NJ metro area and to be in-office 3 to 4 days per week.
- Educational background or experience relevant to legal, regulatory, or commercial aspects of energy transactions (implied but not explicitly specified).
