Job Description

The Director of Subcontracts Trade Partnerships is a senior leadership role responsible for developing and maintaining long-term subcontractor relationships across various trades to support the company's growth in commercial rooftop solar projects, ensuring quality, cost, and schedule outcomes while fostering trust and long-term collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

Build, sustain, and scale long-term subcontractor partnerships across electrical, roofing, structural, civil, and specialty trades.
Develop and implement subcontractor market strategies to ensure the company is a preferred partner in competitive labor markets.
Establish partnership models, commercial frameworks, and governance structures to protect the company and promote trust and transparency.
Manage relationships with subcontractors to ensure strong, durable, and capable partnerships over time.
Collaborate with internal teams such as Development, Construction, Engineering, Legal, Finance, Safety, and Supply Chain to support regional and multi-site growth.

Requirements

Experience building, sustaining, and scaling long-term subcontractor partnerships in the context of commercial and industrial rooftop solar development and EPC growth strategy.
Ownership of the subcontractor market strategy across electrical, roofing, structural, civil, and specialty trades.
Ability to ensure the company is a preferred partner of choice in competitive labor markets.
Proven success in managing cost, schedule, and quality outcomes related to subcontractor relationships.
Demonstrated ability to develop partnership models, commercial frameworks, and governance structures that protect the company while enabling trust, transparency, and long-term alignment.
Experience working closely with cross-functional teams including Development, Construction, Engineering, Legal, Finance, Safety, and Supply Chain to support growth across multiple regions and multi-site programs.
