Job Description
The Director, Strategic Transactions is responsible for leading the execution of complex commercial transactions to support Solar Landscape's expansion into new markets and partnership models, working closely with executive leadership and managing a dedicated team to translate commercial concepts into actionable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the execution of complex, high-impact commercial transactions supporting company expansion into new markets and partnership models.
- Serve as the primary owner for transaction execution, managing opportunities from internal handoff through negotiated agreements and internal close.
- Translate complex commercial concepts into executable, repeatable outcomes.
- Lead and manage a small, dedicated transaction execution team.
- Collaborate closely with executive leadership on strategic initiatives related to transactions.
Requirements
- Experience leading the execution of complex, high-impact commercial transactions supporting company expansion into new markets and partnership models across the United States.
- Ability to serve as the single point of ownership for transaction execution, taking mature opportunities from internal handoff through negotiated agreements and internal close.
- Proven track record as an experienced transactions professional who thrives in ambiguity, enjoys solving first-of-their-kind problems, and can translate complex commercial concepts into executable, repeatable outcomes.
- Experience leading a small, dedicated execution team and working closely with executive leadership on strategic initiatives.
- Based in or willing to relocate to the NY NJ metro area, with the ability to be in-office 3 to 4 days per week.
