The Associate Solar PV Design Engineer is responsible for developing design solutions for commercial and utility-scale solar photovoltaic projects, primarily in early-stage development, to support the company's mission of expanding solar energy deployment across the U.S.
Key Responsibilities
Design engineering solutions for commercial and utility-scale solar photovoltaic projects in early-stage development
Develop and optimize solar system layouts and configurations
Collaborate with project teams to ensure designs meet technical, safety, and regulatory standards
Requirements
Providing solutions in design engineering for commercial and utility-scale solar photovoltaic projects in an early-stage scenario.
Experience in designing solar photovoltaic systems for commercial and utility-scale projects.
Ability to develop and deliver detailed solar PV system designs that meet project specifications and standards.
Proficiency in using design engineering tools and software relevant to solar PV system design.
Strong understanding of solar PV system components, electrical design, and system layout considerations.
Ability to analyze project site conditions and develop appropriate design solutions.
Experience working on early-stage project scenarios, including conceptual and preliminary design phases.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with project teams, stakeholders, and clients during the design process.
