Job Description
The Associate Solar PV Design Engineer is responsible for developing design solutions for commercial and utility-scale solar photovoltaic projects, primarily in early-stage development, to support the company's mission of expanding solar energy deployment across the U.S.
Key Responsibilities
- Design engineering solutions for commercial and utility-scale solar photovoltaic projects in early-stage development
- Develop and optimize solar system layouts and configurations
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure designs meet technical, safety, and regulatory standards
Requirements
- Providing solutions in design engineering for commercial and utility-scale solar photovoltaic projects in an early-stage scenario.
- Experience in designing solar photovoltaic systems for commercial and utility-scale projects.
- Ability to develop and deliver detailed solar PV system designs that meet project specifications and standards.
- Proficiency in using design engineering tools and software relevant to solar PV system design.
- Strong understanding of solar PV system components, electrical design, and system layout considerations.
- Ability to analyze project site conditions and develop appropriate design solutions.
- Experience working on early-stage project scenarios, including conceptual and preliminary design phases.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with project teams, stakeholders, and clients during the design process.
