Job Description
The Senior Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of industrial construction projects at Sila's manufacturing site, ensuring safety, quality, and timely delivery while managing contractors and project resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day construction site operations ensuring safety, schedule, quality, and budget compliance
- Ensure safety and regulatory compliance for all personnel and contractors
- Manage construction activities within authorized budgets and schedules
- Coordinate and direct construction contractors to meet project objectives
- Identify and resolve field issues impacting safety, quality, or timeline
- Support project administration tasks such as RFI processes, change orders, and documentation
- Report project status and key issues to senior management and stakeholders
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in project or construction management, with a strong focus on industrial process industry ground-up construction.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science, or Construction Management is highly preferred.
- Expertise in project planning, risk management, contract management, and project execution.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to interface with all levels of the organization and manage external subcontractors effectively.
- Prior experience with the full project lifecycle and Process Safety Management (PSM) covered processes is a significant advantage.
- Must be able to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including hardhats, safety glasses, and steel-toe shoes.
- Ability to operate a computer and office equipment in a fixed location on-site.
Benefits & Perks
Compensation/salary range: $143,000 to $180,000
